America's Train rolls out of Milwaukee heading for the Twin Cities on a warm winter day in Brew City.
Los reyes de las estepas cerealistas castellanas deambulan por sus predios con el empaque y señorío que les caracteriza, siempre atentos a cualquier atisbo de peligro, aun lejano, para levantar el vuelo.
Aventurarse a intentar obtener alguna toma medio digna de los machos en la época de celo, sin más ayuda que la previa observación de sus áreas de conquista, generalmente diseminadas en mitad de centenares de hectáreas, y una silla-hide camuflada, precisa de una buena dosis de optimismo con algunos toques de masoquismo y, por supuesto, estar enganchado a la observación y fotografía de estas magníficas aves.
Como el título pretende simplificar, la toma es una de las 7 decentes que pude obtener ese día tras 7 horas encerrado en el zulo. ¡Qué cruz! Ja ja ja …

Following a weekend of assorted debaucheries in Reno, Amtrak's Reno Fun Train is seen westbound along the Truckee River, headed back to the Bay Area. With three Budd full domes, an ex-Santa Fe pleasure dome, and three other private rail cars swelling the consist of amfleet/horizon coaches the Fun Train looked quite sharp!

Baker had a busy weekend as we had a house full of overnight guests. He got lots of attention, and nibbles fed to him from the table! But I think he is happy to have the house back to normal. My sister, who I have not seen for three years, came for a visit with her son, and his new wife. What a treat it was! After posting this I am joining Baker on the couch, so will catch up with you and your pups tomorrow! Have a great week everyone!

Il re Tolomeo XIII° - appare raffigurato sul pilone
con tutte le insegne di un Faraone.
I Fori sul pilone - indicano dove stavano i pali che reggevano
i tendoni usati per proteggere dai raggi del sole.

Das Bild entstand legal von außerhalb des Werkes, es wurde nur etwas "Werkbahnakrobatik" angewandt.
