Mikki and Travis are two lovely people in love. They are golden and wonderful. Mikki lives in Buffalo now but our souls are made of the same stuff. Grand Rapids released 5,000 lanterns into the night sky, it was magical.
My grandfather died today, so there were 5,000 paper lanterns for him and his life.

AKg52 RF-4E 35+77 seen at RAF Upper Heyford families day, 17/7/92. Nice to remember proper camo before everything went grey :-)
I honestly never understood people who start to "really live" after they lose someone. Until now.
And I didn't even really know him, not that well at least. I can tell you two, maybe three, stories about him and that's it. But I get it now. He was 20 years old.
What that means is that I've been given at least two more years than him, but why? And that got me thinking "have I done anything in my two more years of life?" Because I'd hate to think that someone who could have had more life wasn't given the opportunity to.
And I do feel like I really have made these past two years count - I moved to the mountains with my best friend, I've made lifelong friends. I traveled to random places and saw beautiful things. I had a casual lunch with Matthew Grey Gubler! And I've fallen madly, deeply in love with an amazing man.
But this makes me scared for the years to come. What if, one day, we lose someone again, someone who I could have gone for instead, and what if I realize that the extra years I was given have been wasted?
It's strange to want to live for someone I only knew by the ink on his arm, but it seems unfair that I've already had more time than him and it seems completely unfair if I waste it.
This is just so fun and happy i love it. SOOC. Top of the world. You have to Press L there is no other way to view it.
