First things first. So much of this design came from vincez01, and his great little T-62. This can be seen here. Thanks so much.
Secondly, on this model I finally figured out I need to start building with Dark Bluish Grey, and no longer Dark Gray. I cannot find, nor do I want to pay for Dark Gray any longer. Sorry for the mixture.
The Model. This is my 1/24 scale version of the famous T-72 tank. The tank has all the working features I could fit into it. Working suspension, working driveline, accurate scale, full Power Functions. The tank has two PF M working each track, and one for the rotation of the turret. Each wheel is suspended, using three different suspension methods, all due to different constraints on space, movement, and need.
Hope you enjoy, all comments are welcome.

We found this nice green wall while hanging out with Arnab and Peter in London, and I thought it would be great if someone suitable came along - but we weren't planning to wait around so I was very happy that Lynda passed by just at the right moment! Her porcelain skin contrasted beautifully with her vivid green hijab, and with the green background to complement that I knew I had a killer shot.
Lynda is visiting from Malaysia and this is her first time here. She was very friendly and a natural in front of the camera. I later checked out her Instagram and she has quite a collection of colourful hijabs. I would have liked to talk more to her but she was with someone and I didn't feel comfortable holding them up much further.
Thank you, Lynda, for stopping and letting me take this portrait, I do hope you like it :)
Technical stuff: there was a silver reflector involved, with Lynda holding it at an angle to fill in some harsh shadows on her face - you can see it in the catchlights in her eyes.
(Neil - if you're reading - thought of you when I took this :-)
Korkos (stranger 72).
On my walks along the canals of Rotterdam I also passed the playground at the Beukelsdijk where I played a lot as a child. We had an annual subscription and were able to enter and exit at any time. I could not resist to go inside. What has changed a lot! All swings are gone and there is no seesaw to see anymore. A bare affair; many trees have disappeared.
I got into conversation with the administrator Korkos. He is from Eritrea and I did not have the impression that he understood what I was saying. He helped a boy from the neighborhood to repair the tire of his bike and during our conversation another boy came who asked if he wanted to pump his football. Important for the neighborhood. He had little time for a photo. I took the picture in the entrance of his office where all kinds of toys are stored.

this is how i feel 95% of the time. i am constantly being pulled left and right by others choices and can never make my own. i have to constantly think of how every action and decision will effect everyone else but i feel as though i can never do anything to make myself happy. for once, i'd like to be selfish and do what i wish.
GP7's #72 and #61 poke their nose out of the concrete roundhouse in Millinocket, Maine on August 4, 1981. Millinocket was the site of a good sized yard and is about half-way up the BAR mainline.(bar6918c)
For the past few days I've been busy spending time with my brother, his girlfriend, and my boyfriend. Life has been really awesome and I've been finding it harder and harder to write descriptions for my photos.
I feel like I've been drifting away from being conceptual and I'm not sure how I feel about this.

The sight from Tim's grandmom's house. It's even more beautiful in real life. I don't know why but it was actually snowing pretty hard when I took this, but it doesn't show up.

I was really excited so I went to my friend shania's house and did a photoshoot i'd been longing to do. my friend quinn helped me with the idea c:
dashflakshfadsf this was the scariest shoot that i have ever done oh my god.
it was soo dark, the stars were gorgeous and the crescent moon was big and yellow. we didn't have any light accept the light on my camera, when you lightly press the shutter button on auto focus.
shania had recently watched the movie Signs, NOT a good idea
we got in there and I was so scared I almost peed my pants. I had to go so bad but I was NOT going to cop a squat in the cornfield i'll tell you that right now.
we set up in like 3 seconds, took two pictures and ran
so i'm officially on flickr again once a day, uploading a picture
sorry for never coming on and looking at your pictures, but it made me so jealous I couldn't handle it.
Caldwell 72, also known as NGC 55, is a galaxy located 6.5 million light-years from Earth in the constellation Sculptor. It was discovered by Scottish astronomer James Dunlop in 1826, when he resided in Australia. Caldwell 72 is best observed in the Southern Hemisphere during the spring, although it can also be viewed from southern parts of the Northern Hemisphere in the autumn. The galaxy has an apparent magnitude of 7.8 and can be spotted with a pair of binoculars under dark skies.
Caldwell 72 is classified as a Magellanic-type galaxy. The classification is named after the Large Magellanic Cloud, a satellite of our Milky Way galaxy. Galaxies of this type have a single spiral arm and are an intermediate class between irregular galaxies and dwarf spiral galaxies. Morphologically, Caldwell 72 very closely resembles the Large Magellanic Cloud, but is smaller and has an edge-on orientation.
This image, showing a central part of Caldwell 72, is a composite of visible and infrared observations made by Hubble’s Advanced Camera for Surveys. The observations were taken to help astronomers understand how the distribution of the galaxy’s relatively small structures, such as dust clouds, affect how the light from the galaxy is dimmed as it passes through this intervening matter. Because light from the galaxy is partially obscured by the dust along our line of sight, it is important that we understand its small-scale distribution.

One owner since new. Impressive really, given that was 45 years ago!! Delaine still own this Atlantean, which of course is now preserved, and gets seen regularly at different events and shows, which is great to see!! Now the question is will the B5TL bought last year still be around in 2063??

These two cars competed in the HSCC Seldon Pre '71 Single Seater Championship race at the Historic Sports Car Club's Spring Historic Race Meeting at Oulton Park in May 1986. The number 72 car is a 1970 Lotus 72, chassis 72/R4 and in front of it is a 1971 McLaren M19A, chassis M19A/1, both of which belonged to the then owner of the Oulton Park racing circuit (and Brands Hatch and Snetterton), John Foulston, who drove the McLaren in that race whilst his wife Mary drove the Lotus. The Lotus 72 was designed by Colin Chapman and Maurice Philippe and the McLaren M19A was designed by Ralph Bellamy, both cars having the Ford Cosworth DFV 2,993cc V8 engine. The Lotus was the more successful of the two cars, Jochen Rindt winning the World Driver's Championship in 1970 and Emerson Fittipaldi in 1972, and Lotus winning the World Constructor's Championship in 1970, 1972 and 1973. The McLaren's best results were a third place in the Driver's Championship in 1972 for Denny Hulme and a third place in the Constructor's Championship the same year for McLaren.
