Nikon FE w/ 50mm 1.4

I'm working with this group of financial advisors to create a new visual representation of how they work together and what they have to offer to potential clients. It's an ongoing documentary project, including multiple visits to the office to catch the vibe, lunch outings, new headshots, live interaction with their clients and personalized stock images to display on an upcoming new website and brand. Getting paid to see, create and capture a vision for others with a camera is a dream come true. I am grateful beyond on this paid day of shooting!

Still working through the Camden shoot from 13 April. Fiona here is from Dublin but lives in London. She was visiting Camden for the day as so many do and was happy to pose for a quick photograph. Thanks Fiona, I hope you had a super day on the markets!

I'm really into colour at the moment, it's probably the key criteria for whether I approach someone for a picture or not. And I loved the pink tones of her top and lipstick and how they worked with her rich brown hair.

I tried something a little different in my processing here, I reduced the contrast. I'm not sure I've got my head around it yet but I see others who appear to do this and get a wonderful soft feel to their images. Anyone got any tips?

I met Harold while visiting Chicago in July. My son saw him sitting on a bench and thought he was a statue, until Harold moved and got up to leave. This startled my son and he told me that I missed my opportunity to get a real cool stranger for my project.

Luckily, Harold had only left to get something to eat and soon came back to our area. He was more than happy to participate in my strangers project. Since he makes a living on receiving tips from people taking his picture, I gave him some money before starting my photo shoot.

Harold is 62 years old and is a street performer (human statue). He claims that he is the most photographed street performer in the world. He used to work in retirement homes 35 years ago but now enjoys his work as a performing artist.

Harold was born in Statesville, North Carolina but no longer has a permanent home. He was in Chicago for a 6 month period. Prior to this he was performing in Nashville. After Chicago he is planning on going back to Nashville or possibly heading to Las Vegas. He loves what he does and enjoys travelling the world.

In the comment section I have posted a candid shot of Harold when he initially left his post to get some food.

Fender Telecaster Deluxe 72 Reissue Special Edition, made in Mexico. It's a Special Edition because it's 'arctic white,' which was a limited production colour intended mainly for GC/MF stores in the USA, but a few trickled over here to the UK, so I suppose it's a lot less common in Blighty!
