To get me started I needed some general pictures of what was left of 708 to become familiar with the Leyland Olympic which is chassis less bus relaying upon a steel under frame to support the body and running gear. I found pictures of my tiger cub burnt out rather upsetting so I will limit what I post

Travel Merry Hill Mercedes 208 G708 HOP is seen in Bilston Bus Station on service 270 to Dudley on 24.02.00. This bus was new to AG s 708 but was renumbered to save clashing with Optare Excels.

I took this shot walking into work this morning. It was a rare occasion where no cars were parked in front so I was able to do a 3 photo stitch.
I had to remove a LOT of mailboxes and newspaper boxes... the bane of urban photographers.
I was very tempted to crop this to just the window on the left, but I thought the whole shot was also nice so I left it alone.

Since then, every single 18m long vehicle built by Castrosua for Guaguas has worn the same addition on their fronts.
