At least a second set of refurbished and repainted 700 series cars has reentered service on the Candiac line. Full consist of AMT 90 at Montreal West was AMT 1345, AMT 729, AMT 725, AMT 725 & AMT 708.
D1 708 is ready to depart as train 826 towards Ungheni. The train will depart at 18:31 and drives three times a week. Monday, Wednesday and Friday. THe train is used by passangers who get on in the morning in the villages near Ungheni to go to Chisinau. In Chisinau they are selling fruits, vegetables and flowers from there gardens and travel back in the evening.
The D1 is a series of a four unit DMU produced by the Hungarian company Ganz-MAVAG in the 1960-1980's. Nowaday the 708 is the only one in opreration and has lost the two intermediate units.

DOF 708 was a Leyland Tiger new to Western National in 1984 as A532 WRL. It was seen in Exeter during August 1999 whilst on an X9 working.
STS109-708-054 (3 March 2002) --- The Hubble Space Telescope (HST), backdropped against a horizon scene while in the grasp of the Space Shuttle Columbia's robotic arm, was captured by the STS-109 crew members on flight day three. Moments later, the giant telescope was locked down in the shuttle's cargo bay, where it went on to remain for almost a week as the crew members performed five space walks in five days to service and upgrade it.
