I was in Laurinburg, NC for a work related event. After the event, since my wife had to work, I continued on to Hamlet to visit the depot and museums. A Silvertone lap steel guitar, part of the Dixon Brothers display in the Visitor's Center museum.
nice bit of blackwood veneer and vintage style tuning pegs completes the headstock. almost - still need to make a truss cover
you rough trim the fret wire (after giving it the correct radius with a nifty little roller machine) and store each bit in correct slot - otherwise you can mix them up.
