I went back to basics a little this week. Most of the shots I liked from MM last week were more abstract shots that explored the mood of the shot not necessarily its form. So, I used my old super takumar a few extension tubes and had some fun exploring my electric guitar!
HMM!
An older image from the Chalet jam a couple of years back.
Amazing what you find when you go through older photos.
This is my Les Paul double cut away. I am a drummer but I have quite a few other instruments. I like to write music. This guitar resembles a Melody Maker and I always liked that look.
Happy Macro Monday
I will sing you a song.
Photography is my second passion and music is my first. For anyone wanting to hear something different My project "chasing Einstein" can be heard here. This is one song of mine.
An artist gently arranges chords on the amped-up six-string guitar.
Creating accoustic expressions that weep through the Stockholm city street noise.
The vibrations resonate with natural frequencies of the conscious minds.
Olympus om1n, 28mm Zuiko, Kodak Tri-x 400, Adox FX-39 II 1+9 6'00"@25deg. C
First time experimenting with FX-39 II. Got a 50%-off deal at the local shop. Learned it works well with slower and especially t-grained films. So far it looks promising! Too bad the tri-x stock is running low :-P
After many many years without playing my Guitar I have pulled it out and starting to play again, albeit very rusty. The fingers don't really want to go to the right places anymore and much of it forgotten. Hopefully after more practice I will be playing a different tune. Have a good week my Flickr Friends.

Repost October 12, 2016 - Hear what it sounds like! See posted video after this photo. :) ... www.flickr.com/photos/life_after_death/30249972246/in/dat...
Strong hands that could hold me up forever, playing ever so lightly and gently in afternoon light. Happy Valentine's Day! :)
Look closely, this photo shows the bridging of the gap of technology vs old school. The ipad and iphone are running apps by Positive Grid which are tube amp and effects simulations. The tones and sounds from these apps are incredible.
**Repost: 6-28-16 Happy Birthday to the love of my life!! :) (the man playing the guitar)
Exceptional skill displayed in motion as the musician plays for the trees and birds, who all stopped to listen, on a beautiful mountain afternoon. The musician is playing a well-seasoned Ovation guitar, which sounds fantastic outdoors. Make a joyful noise! :)
You'll have to forgive me. In the process of taking today's photo, I trod on and broke my glasses. So I can't even be sure if this is in focus or not... :-(
Lighting: 580EXII (full power) to camera left. 430EX (1/2 power) to camera right (illuminating guitar). Fired with eBay radio triggers.
...Here we are, with our running and confusion
And I don't see no confusion anywhere...
As the world does turn
And if London burns
I'll be standing on the beach with my guitar
I want to be in a band
When I get to heaven
Anyone can play guitar
And they won't be a nothing anymore

I look at you all see the love there that’s sleeping
While my guitar gently weeps.
I look at the floor and I see it needs sweeping
Still my guitar gently weeps.
I don’t know why nobody told you
How to unfold your love,
I don’t know how someone controlled you
They bought and sold you.
