After working almost around the clock for a 3 day Pride event, how Missy found the energy to perform spontaneously for my camera, I have no Idea.
I had worked my way back, as usual, to where she worked when I finished shooting the parade. My light grey t-shirt was dark grey from sweat. I was a hot mess. The place was jammed, moreso this year than last. Somehow, she got me a brew and my usual "end-of-Pride" Jello shot. Kind of like an annual ritual.
She use to be somewhat camera shy, saying she didn't know what to do in front of the camera. I always, say to her . . "Do what you feel. Don't worry about the cam." This "permission" has produced a number of delightful surprises.😲 However, I did not anticipate that at work there would be photographing . . . "a whole lot of shak'n going on."
The world would be a better place if we had more free spirits I think.
