but seriously, the view from the kimmel building is so beautiful i can't handle it. i didn't have my dslr - so this is what you get.
I've been shooting all day and not had a chance to take a photo so I am using this from New Year's Day (I allow myself to do this - we all have our own self-imposed 365 rules!).
This is (L-R), Violet, Blu & Bo. Bo and Violet are bessie mates and Blu is Bo's sister so Violet's bessie mate by default. With me?

experimenting with a new Tungsten (teal/blue/green) edit, seems good for moody weather - but still a beta phase at the moment while I work out the kinks.
When you live in an old house you learn to live with quirky things that make no sense in our modern minds like a window INSIDE the house. The room Maizy is in used to be a sleeping porch so I'm thinking there used to be glass in that space, but I really don't know for sure. Normally there is a leaded glass window that hangs in that space, but I took it down to get Maizy in the "frame". Her reflection just happened to get "framed" as well. ;)
