About fusion and dissolution

Masked Lapwing parent with 2 chicks underneath: the original Babysitting (as one of the 5year olds said). The Plover's wing spurs are clearly visible: you don't want to be dive-bombed by an angry Plover!

The Plover family set up 'home' in my work's carpark. At the beginning and end of the day they spend their time aggressively defending their three chicks from children, parents and cars!
