A horse and a cowboy's gun were just what a bandit needed.
I posted my 5 for the challenge, but I still have more of Billy's story to tell. I should be doing a ton of other stuff, but this is way more fun. :)
Betsy follows behind the girls to make sure that things are going smoothly. She has extra life vests and a first aid kit in case of an emergency. She is really enjoying the day with the girls, but she is a little stressed about their safety. She is worried about them getting too tired to row or capsizing.

Well, this year has started off on a bad note. (Several bad notes to be exact.) But its time to look ahead and get back on track for this 52 project!
This is my sweet kitty Sam. My husband found her near death last year on the golf course. We were a little concerned the first few months about her unbelievable amount of kitten energy, but she has settled in and we have grown to love her. :)

Raised my ride height a bit for the track a few weeks ago and thought The MF-6 deserved a new shoot (since I haven't taken any pictures of it since February). It's been taking me a while to get used to seeing wheel gap (have been tucking tire for the last few months) but I'm beginning to like the look with a 1-finger gap front and rear. The car looks aggressive in a track kinda way and the handling increase and smoother ride are definitely worth a little extra clearance.
Shot this one @ f/7.1 with a shutter speed of 10 seconds, ISO @ 200. Lighting was provided by an overhead street light and with the SB800 off camera manually fired @ 1/32 power aimed at the wheels and from behind the vehicle (rear passenger tire area). In LR3 and PS I altered the temperature, levels and shadows to get the lighting just how I wanted it, dark but still visible lines.

Was den Männern vorgeworfen wird ist derzeit Unklar. Die Polizei wollte am Einsatzort keine Angaben dazu machen. Sie verweist auf die Pressestelle. .

Ik doe mee aan de foto7daagse, dit is dag 6. De opdracht van vandaag: 'lekker'...
De foto7daagse zit er alweer bijna op en ik vind het best leuk om jezelf eens uit te dagen middels opdrachten om te gaan fotograferen. Vandaag was de opdracht: 'Lekker'. Direct als je de mail leest, denk je aan eten en omdat ik wist dat we naar Arnhem gingen, had ik me voor genomen om een persoon te fotograferen die een puntzak friet bij de haphoek opeet. Echter, sta ik daar (en had niet alle tijd!) geen puntzakken friet en diegene die zo'n zak hadden waren snel verdwenen. Toen maar gefocused op de automatiek! Zie foto onder....
En toen we op de Korenmarkt waren, dacht ik: 'dit is pas echt de perfecte uitbeelding van 'Lekker', namelijk Lente, terrasjes weer gevuld, lachende mensen..... leven in de brouwerij'. Kortom de laatste foto van de middag, werd de eerste keuze voor opdracht 6 Lekker.
Fijn weekend. Morgen Blue Hours maken in Den Bosch, Paleiskwartier.
...and finally Renault 6 #4.
By this point, the SEAT 127, Opel Vectra GT, Daewoo Espero, numerous Renault 4s and long wheelbase Renault Kangoo we'd passed on the way through town seemed a bit boring in comparison.
The Renault 6 was built in Spain, so this could account for its popularity here, although I only saw one other during the rest of my stay on the Costa Del Sol.

So apparently Zoey LOVES hills :-) after dinner on this evening we decided to head out to the beach for some photos since it was a beautiful night, once we arrived at the beach it was empty and so peaceful, not a breeze at all. Unfortunately within a minute we found out why no one was there, without any wind the bugs were out in full force, we were instantly swarmed by dozens and dozens and forced to flee back into the car. Luckily the park wasn't too far so we headed there instead. I decided to go climb one of the little hills to try to take advantage of the fleeting daylight and also try to get some shots from a low perspective (since I could lay lower on the hill and shoot up at her). The one thing I didn't expect would be Zoey running full speed up and down the hill back and forth, barely stopping to pick her self up from the ground after she would fall. She literally had a ball being silly and running all over the place. The tricky part for me was getting my light (an Apollo 28 softbox) in a good spot to catch her for a split second, this took several attempts but I really like the outcome.
