The last of my reworked models. I liked my 'Sparky', but it lacked two important features; namely it wasn't blue and grey, and it couldn't land because it had no landing gear. Hence the upgrades. :-)

Former Leigh Corporation AEC Renown / East Lancs, 13, by now SELNEC 6913 seen in its home town bus station following an appointment with the orange paint.
This appears to be one of the last buses to be repainted as it has Helvetica fleetnumbers. Early examples used former Manchester gold fleetnumber transfers, as the ornate shaded numerals Leigh used on their blue and cream livery wouldn't have looked out of place on an Edwardian tramcar and would have looked rather odd on the sunglow orange colours.
