Pendant bien longtemps j’ai vécu avec l’idée que j’étais l’être le plus normal qui fut jamais. Cette idée me donna le goût, voire la passion, de l’improductivité : à quoi bon se faire valoir dans un monde peuplé de fous, enfoncé dans la niaiserie ou le délire ? Pour qui se dépenser et à quelle fin ? Reste à savoir si je me suis entièrement libéré de cette certitude, salvatrice dans l’absolu, ruineuse dans l’immédiat.

The last of my reworked models. I liked my 'Sparky', but it lacked two important features; namely it wasn't blue and grey, and it couldn't land because it had no landing gear. Hence the upgrades. :-)
CSX 6913 smokes it up as it leads train R-136 at Aliquippa, PA on December 26, 1990. There was almost nothing left of the once expansive J&L Steel Works that stretched along here, literally for miles.
Shot on location in the New Forest, after which the sun rose and the owner returned to his "quiet" neighbourhood.
