DB 613 603 (VT 608) maakte op 14 april 1995 een rit van Braunschweig naar Amsterdam CS als trein 22096.
Mit einem fotogenen Ganzzug, dem Ecco Magnesitzug, war 185 613 bei Schalding auf der KBS 880 zu sehen.
De Sint-Janskerk is een middeleeuwse kerk in het Friese dorp Deinum. Opvallend is de toren, gebouwd tussen 1550 en 1567. De toren wordt bekroond door een ui-vormige spits, met op de vier hoeken pinakels. De kerk is erkend als een rijksmonument. Vanuit de wijde omgeving is de kerk waarneembaar, en op meerdere plekken ook te combineren met een trein.
Het is precies wat ik op zondag 30 oktober 2022 wilde proberen. Gecombineerd met de altijd erg fraaie herfstbladeren aan de bomen op Winkjesjacht rondom Leeuwarden. Na een paar succesvolle plaatjes rond Jorwert, Mantgum en Jellum kon de laatste zonfoto gemaakt worden bij Deinum, aan de lijn naar Harlingen Haven.
Deinum is een echte halte aan de vrije baan; er zijn geen wissels, keren of kruisen met een tegentrein is hier onmogelijk. Deinum is tevens een van de stations met het laagste aantal instappers van de provincie. Toch stopt de trein er twee keer per uur per richting. Wink 613 "Thús", Frysk voor thuis, maakt een korte stop als trein 37231 naar Harlingen Haven.
Mit einem schönen Gaskesselganzzug war die damals für Eccorail fahrende 185 613 im April nach Hegyeshalom unterwegs. Bei Langenisarhofen konnte ich die HUSA 185 ablichten.

NGC 613 is a spiral galaxy in the Sculptor constellation, around 67 million light years from earth.
The bright core region in the image is the result of there being a dense concentration of stars in said region, of which the combined light of course makes for additional brightness. At the center of it all however, is a very powerful source of radio emissions which at the same time hardly emits any optical or infrared emissions (so it’s “invisible” if you will). This is almost certainly a supermassive black hole. Estimations put the mass of said black hole at roughly 40 million solar masses (about tenfold of what we see in our own Milky Way).

October 24, 2019. Závada, Czech Republic. The modernized locomotive 753.613-9 hauling a freight train with metallurgical products from Petrovice u Karviné to Přerov and on to Austria.
For the first time ever seeing potash loads taking the southward route of CP’s Aldersyde Subdivision, I made the short trip down to the De Winton area to grab a few shots of 613 in the late morning of June 5, 2022.
I believe this train came southward off of the Red Deer Sub, after taking the more northern route from the mines in Saskatchewan.
