31st July 2011. 08604 "Phantom" at the Great Western Society's Didcot Railway Centre in unlined green livery with GWR-style name and number plates.
9/10 Like 18, great to find one in use and not rotting away at the back of a garage. '54' on the plate suggests that it came from the Nancy area, pretty much the opposite side of France to where I saw it on the Atlantic coast.

Ayer por la tarde, me enteré de que hoy iba a salir la gata con el literas por los enlaces de Madrid para hacerle inversión al coche, así que esta tarde me he acercado a Nuevos Ministerios para intentar verle.
Nada más pasar el Talgo a Valencia, me entero de que acababa de salir con casi una hora de retraso, así que toco aguantar esa hora con el calor insoportable de la estación, hasta que por fín apareció.
En la foto la 269.604 remolca el 9606 a su paso por Nuevos Ministerios y dirección Fuencarral.
