La Gata forma parte un lote de 4 locomotoras 269.600 encargado a Mitsubishi, fueron precursoras de la tracción Chopper en sustitución de la tracción original de las 269 regulada por resistencias, dando paso a una regulación más suave y eficiente mediante electrónica de tiristores.
Las locomotoras de esta subserie fueron reformadas con nuevos bogies adaptados a velocidades máximas de 200 km/h. La Gata, contó, además, con una característica caja más aerodinámica y liviana que sus hermanas.

Il parco botanico Friuli-Cormor, noto anche come parco del Cormor o parco botanico del Cormôr, è un parco comunale e un giardino botanico situato a Udine, in Friuli Venezia Giulia.
Il parco è stato creato tra il 1990-1993 dall'architetto Roberto Pirzio Biroli in un sito trascurato a nord-ovest del centro città. Si estende per 30 ettari, tra il torrente Cormor e l'autostrada A23, con fitte piantagioni di boschi, prati aperti, un belvedere, sentieri e stradine e un'area giochi per bambini.

A MORNING RUN
The Friuli-Cormor Botanical Park, also known as the Cormor Park or the Cormôr Botanical Park, is a municipal park and botanical garden located in Udine, in Friuli Venezia Giulia.
The park was created between 1990 and 1993 by architect Roberto Pirzio Biroli on a neglected site northwest of the city center. It extends over 30 hectares, between the Cormor stream and the A23 motorway, with dense woodland plantations, open meadows, a lookout, paths and lanes, and a children's play area.

9/10 Like 18, great to find one in use and not rotting away at the back of a garage. '54' on the plate suggests that it came from the Nancy area, pretty much the opposite side of France to where I saw it on the Atlantic coast.
