This wall, along Jefferson Street, was painted as a tribute to actor James Gandolfini by New York based street artist Zimer in 2013.
James Gandolfini, the actor best known for his role as MAfia crime boss Tony Soprano on the HBO series, The Sopranos, died of a heart attack on June 19, 2013 at the age of 51.
In case you're wondering, this is a "test" photo, of sorts. This image is one of FOUR which all were processed differently. I think this one is the best. I chose this frame because of the variety of textures, colors, shapes, shadows, lights, gradations, tonal variations and reflections throughout.
Sometimes also affectionately known to locals as "Crazy Mary's," Mary's Beads and Gems, is an eclectic shop in Huntsville, Alabama which has an enormous collection of polished gemstones and beads for necklaces, bracelets and jewelry, including amethyst, pearls, black onyx, goldstone, jade, mother of pearl, turquoise, tiger eye, agate, aquamarine, garnet, coral, and much more.

No Goal Is Too High If We Climb With Care and Confidence, located on a pedestrian stretch of Poplar Street off Peachtree Street facing Woodruff Park, was designed by Georgia State University Sculpture Forum, led by sculptor George Beasley in 1995. The 204-inch tall silicone bronze triumphal arch, mounted atop 26-inch tall granite bases on each end, is comprised of students climbing a staircase of books.
Papa Jaszz has been a staple in Five Points for decades even as many other record stores came in went in Columbia, both locally owned and the inevitable chain stores, some of them within the confines of Five Points. Papa Jazz opened in 1980. It is located at 2014 Greene St, Columbia, SC 29205. This shot is loking dwn toward Harden Street.

It's a well-known sight from the elevated 7 subway, which runs behind 5 Pointz.
So apparently I have this issue where I take pretty cool photographs, transfer them from my camera to my computer (and later to an external hard drive) where I forget about them. Such was thhe apparent case in October, 2011 when I made tyhis photograph in Columbia's Five Points of the iconic Papa Jazz Record Shoppe complete with some dude riding a skateboard up Greene Street!

This wall, along Troutman Street, was painted by legendary Paris-based graffiti artist Blek le Rat in 2013. Born Xavier Prou, Blek le Rat began painting stencils of rats on the walls of Paris in 1981 and is often described as the "Father of Stencil Graffiti."

Ingredients
16 ounces frozen boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 pkg. ranch dressing mix
1 pkg. taco seasoning mix
1 medium onion, diced
1 can Rotel tomatoes undrained
1 can black beans, undrained
1 can cannelloni or any white beans, undrained
1 can kidney beans, undrained
1 can vegetarian baked beans (28 ounces) undrained
1 can corn
Layer items in crockpot in order listed above starting with chicken breasts. Do not stir. Cook on low for 6-8 hours. Before serving, remove chicken & shred with a fork. Stir chicken back into soup.
