Last winter there were some lovely days. This one was particularly exceptional after whole night of snow fall. So we decided to wonder around the wood around Les Paccots. The 5DSR just arrived that week. So I took it for a ride. It was a nice walk.

Please have a look at my website www.avisekhphotography.com for all my recent works.

Have a nice weekend.

Hope you will enjoy the picture.

Any suggestions or criticisms are always welcome.

My first sunrise in a long time, and it was truly spectacular. Went with my brother Eliezer to Smyrna Dunes Park, and right after sunrise we were greeted with a show of sunbeams for one hour.

It's hard to capture a Butterfly in the air and have it in focus.

A succulent at my place. Heavy rain in the background.

Another RE Edit of some old data from July 2021 . Carina nebula or Eta Carinae Nebula . Shot with Canon 5Dsr on a Skywatcher Quattro 250P Telescope. 15 x 55 second exposures stacked with Calibration frames . There is so much to see in this area of the sky , I will probably do some crops of this image to zoom in on all the different areas .

This year *everyone* in the city gets to enjoy the Tattoo - these lights can be seen from miles around at points in the show.

Was up here on Calton Hill from about 8pm until leaving at 10:30. Before sunset it was the busiest I had ever seen it: I'd estimate there were over 2,000 people up there. As usual, most everyone was gone by dusk - all of them missing this free show entirely.

Eight vertical images stitched.

Party lights over our back deck.

On the island Langkawi, Malaysia this fantastic afterglow happened. The sun was already sunk and suddenly the clouds started to appear orange for a minute. The whole beach was illuminated in orange color. Temperature was short below 40°C.

First time I really had to crop and use the 50MP of this camera. Handhelf and with f2.8 still a bit unsharp at the face.

It's Noctilucent or night shining cloud season. Usually spot them between mid June and early July around midnight. Thought to be composed of ice particles and meteor dust, up to 80 km high in the mesosphere. More information here:
