As my 2000th photo I decided to do a comparison of my first (still on my page) figure photo with figures of the same characters now.
Man, it's weird to think that the Avengers movie came out 5 years ago... dang...

That night had been specially dark, with the new moon offering but a heavy and thick darkness. It had been following a pack of wolves whom would howl nervously at its presence, growl and retreat if It made a movement in their general direction, the scent of the men floated in the air closer and closer, even wolves noticed perking their ears up and sniffing the air.
They all scurried fast getting lost in the landscape when the direction of the human presence was evident, the forest floor still covered in snow from a past blizzard. It turned around annoyed by the interruption, just to see the orange balls of light approaching in the distance. What kind of crazy creatures were these? They were not prepared for a winter, let alone for a dark cold night in such harsh conditions. It went to their encounter walking slowly in the near pitch black darkness, the carcass was difficult to move and It knew that these humans had the intention to end the life of the wretched creature.
It already reeked to decomposition, patches of fur were already missing and the eyes, lifeless on their sockets, covered by the eyelids that seemed to melt around them causing the humans to scream in terror and step back at the image. Yet they persisted holding their tools up and making loud noises to warn all those in the forest about their soon to be deed, even when it had been It the one surrendering.
It gave them the spectacle they were wishing for, making low noises with the already torn throat, even gave them some fight throwing hits with the massive claws that were still sharp and strong. The humans had enjoyed to burn the remains of the carcass, dancing inebriated of power as the sun started to rise in the horizon, turning everything white except for the black mass still burning and melting in a pyre.

Woke up early in the morning on the river from a croaking crow instead of an alarm clock. Went down the hill and took this shot near the boat.
Really shouldn't be making promises like this, but it's looking like the final chapter of Regicide will be coming by the end of next week.
The sun came over the horizon and briefly made an appearance.
From where I was standing the gap between the horizon and the cloud was about one diameter of the sun (relatively speaking) - the bottom of the cloud layer is the orange line just above the sun. The bright orange feature to the right of the sun is the illuminated vapour plume from Ratcliffe on Soar power station some 35 miles away
