The green "Assisted checkout" sign is a little misleading, but it means that a human will help if you are having trouble with contrary instructions issued by the self-checkout machine. While I actually like the idea of the self-checkout, these days I don't shop often enough to get use to it. Last time, I put my bag on the wrong side of the machine and it didn't like that.

De 'Venice Simplon Orient Express' maakte voor het vertrek van haar vier dagen durende reis naar Istanboel een presentatierit door Midden Nederland.

AKA chickweed-wintergreen, arctic starflower, metsätähti (fin).

Taken with Canon FD 135mm F3.5.

This is such a nice lens. Very affordable while being quite capable. It's slower than many at F3.5 wide open, but that also means a bit more deptht of field while maintaining circular bokeh. It's much sharper that the 135mm F3.5 Konica Hexanon that I also have.

Yes, i basically think that i live in that generation. My habit of send 100+ text msgs in Hong Kong sadly didn't continue here cus of those crappy phone plans. Instead, it's more of sending emails, bbm, msn & most likely Twitter.
