5 Broadgate near Liverpool Street is a popular spot for street photography, with its huge number 5 marking its address number it gives a great focal point when added with passers by.
This is an area of London I spent a lot of time in when I was younger but it’s changed so much since I was last there I hardly recognised it. It’s definitely an area ripe with photographic opportunities but on this visit I only had time for a brief visit.
We test the sugar content (brix) of the must everyday using a hydrometer, starting at about 24 brix. After about 10 days, it gets down to zero and it's time to press the must.
Met up with Phil on a night that was suppose to be cloudy. Turned out to be the most starry night in a long time, Could even see the Milky Way.
Went to a local canal bridge and locks, did a shot under the bridge then before leaving came up top and got this one.
We then moved on to meet Jack and Arthur and went to a church, which was open. Shot inside for a bit, then light painted a cow before coming home.
After spending a few hours at Cliff siding on Tehachapi, we had begun the long walk back to Bealville. As we were nearing Tunnel 5, we encountered an eastbound Santa Fe manifest with a U36C on the point.
