BRM 596 291. Leyland TD4 new to Cumberland Motor Services in 1936 with a Massey body. Rebodied with an ECW L27/28R body 1950. Also worked for Barton as their 816. Was with Steve Morris's Quantock Motor Services in Somerset for many years. Seen at Wythall 1-10-23.

Cada día que pasa, un día menos de vida para esta serie de automotores que tanto me gustan. Su gran problema es la mecánica que portan y el mantenimiento que requieren para un funcionamiento optimo. Por este hecho Renfe dentro de poco no los querrá, una lastima. Si estuvieran en Europa, doy por hecho que durarían unos 20 años más. Una política que nunca entenderé, dar a la carretera viajeros…. El 596.025 a su paso por la estacion de O´Donnell, procedente de Soria con destino Madrid. Ese dia bajaban dos 592.2 pero en Torralba hubo problemas con los cambios y fueron transbordados al 596. 10/01/09.
