Make Way For Ducklings..

Fun Fact: In 2000, schoolchildren from Canton, Massachusetts decided that the book was worthy of being the official children's book of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and went to their state legislature to get a bill passed declaring it so. However, legislators from Springfield, Massachusetts blocked the legislation on the grounds the official book should be by Springfield native Dr. Seuss. Legislators reached a compromise when they agreed to make Dr. Seuss the official children's author of the commonwealth and Make Way for Ducklings the official children's book. (taken from wikipedia)

Shoot with my friend Ali. We were just headed back to our car from buying old dresses for future shoots when she spotted this alley :) This has a really different style to it than I usually do...too strobist for me.

I fell asleep on a late night train. I missed my stop and I went round again. Why would I wanna see you now? To fix it up, make it up somehow?

Ok so...

I have been trying to figure this out..

for the past 9 months..

For those who don't know..

I was Diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes..

In August last year.

To look at me..

you would never know..

That my day consists of 4 needles..

constantly counting carbs..

and checking my sugar levels..

Its no picnic..

Definitely scary :(

But also manageable..

Wrapping my head around this was a tough one..

I'll be honest, I have thought once or twice..why me?

But you know what..this is my life now..theres no point in complaining.

I am so Grateful to God that he gave me a second chance at life..

Without his warning signs 9 months ago..

I may not be here today..

All you can do now is...Smile :)
