Day 44: A great day taking pictures at Rutland Water with Mrs P today. She nicked the X-S1, so I was back to using my 5D MkII. It's like putting on a pair of comfy slippers.
I actually had half a dozen shots that I could have shared, but ended up selecting this one. It's a 'found' still-life. A small piece of driftwood on the cracked ground by the side of the reservoir - I can see why there's concern about a drought.
The image was converted to mono, then Selenium toned in Lightroom to create this look. Proud of this picture - it really shows how much more I'm looking to find pictures. Six days to go until it's Day 50. Wow!
My sweet little peep- can't believe he and his deformed/crooked back have lived 9 years? I hear the donkeys can live to be 50- wow & hooray!
