I had a good old active day today ~ morning my RPM spinning class at the gym, home for a quick bite to eat and then this afternoon a long walk along the beach.

Doing my B&W 365 I am trying to shoot as many different subjects as I can but I have an early feeling that this scene of the old Salt Pans will be repeated, albeit, from differing angles!

Black-and-White 365 ....

Thanks to everyone who views this photo, adds a note, leaves a comment and of course BIG thanks to anyone who chooses to favourite my photo .... thanks to you all.

2016 - 5.30 Verona

I am impressed by the richness of the colours from this camera and lens combination especially when considering this picture was taken through a window. I have noticed that I can enlarge images to more that 200% without loss of detail.

7DOS The Number Five Black & White Wednesday...a busy week - one from the archives.

52 Weeks 2015: Five. A cliche take this week on the theme, but an excuse to get out my son's cool dice.

Base camp was set up at the head of Lake Tasisuak, at the upper (nice and dry) edge of the beach, where the Fraser River flows into the lake, with dense spruce forest just behind.

AAW March 2-9: Double Exposure

WIT: I've been struggling with time management lately and have missed the last couple of assignments because of it. This got me thinking about time and clocks and ghosts (LOL)...

I took two exposures and layered them in Photoshop and added background blur around the clock, plus removed the clock manufacturers name. In Lightroom, I used an infrared pre-set to convert to b/w.

Again, clicking on "all sizes" and blowing this up shows you the really creepy detail of this photo (which was, by the way, unintended). The day I shot this was actually really sunny and bright. I didn't photoshop this or anything; the pictures just turned out like this.

I really hate slide film.

About 5 Sec Faces

This is a street photography project between Fleecircus and Danny St to capture the different personalities that make up face of Singapore. We roam around the streets of Singapore with an illustration board for a makeshift background, look for strangers with distinct faces, then ask "Can I take your picture? It'll just take 5 seconds..." If they agree, we quickly click away :)

I allways take some of my time to watch the skateboarders in Björns Trädgård do their thing.
