today, lucy is 4...
adopting lucy from PRoNE (pug rescue of new england) was a great choice.
she doesn't generally like to pose for pictures, but i had cookies.
she has crazy buggy eyes and because of that,
she's mostly blind due to pigmentary keratitis...
she barks at things she "thinks" she sees...
she schemes with her best friend, olive for household takeover...
but at night when cozied up on the couch...
she's the warmest, snuggliest little thing...
she loves unconditionally and she has the best waggly butt around.
i am so glad we adopted her.

This is my little horror who is responsible for helping me with my Lick my boots shot! and also responsible for causing damage to my best friends car with a screw driver when his two little girlfriends locked him out of the car!!!!!
I almost killed him that day and he has on so many occasions almost sent me to a mental hospital lol!!! I love him to bits even though he is a rogue!
The challenge this week was to post a photo of the dog that will be in the 52 Weeks for Dogs 2013 group. I admit I did a lot of thinking about which of my four dogs should be in the group next year. I was thinking that since this is Piper's first year with us, maybe she should be the 52 Weeks dog...but then I really didn't get too creative with my photos this past year for Colby. A small dog is easier to pose and place inside, or on top of, objects. So rather than decide now, I am going to take a few more days to make up my mind....COLBY or PIPER?
Above, my little cuddle bug is all wrapped up in his towel right after his bath. When it's cold outside, I wrap Colby up tight directly after his bath. The towel absorbs a large volume of water and Colby doesn't get as cold as he would with out it. Then I can blow dry him or let him air dry, depending on how cold he seems.

August 30, 2008 | Tyler was practicing how to write his name. He was getting a bit discouraged with the Y. We ended the session on a good note with him making all the letters of his first name.

My big boy Hudson and I spent two lovely hours together.........
I had him all to myself. He swam back and forth continuously the entire time..........Maybe waiting for more people to perform for, but being a 10deg day, only 3 people showed up for a few minutes.....
and I loved every minute of my quality time!!!!!!
Hudson will celebrate his 4th birthday on December 14th. I can hardly believe it
PLEASE stop and consider the environment and help save the Polar Bear in the wild from extinction. Recycle, reuse, replenish......
