Die Re 430 368 fährt mit übersichtlicher Anhängelast demnächst in den noch alten Bözbergtunnel ein. Im Auftrag des Bundes nimmt die SBB bis 2020 einen 4-Meter-Korridor auf der Gotthard-Achse in Betrieb. Somit können dereinst auch Sattelauflieger mit einer Höhe von vier Metern auf der Bahn transportiert werden. Das grösste Einzelprojekt ist der Neubau des Bözbergtunnels zwischen Effingen und Villnachern im Kanton Aargau.

WNYP 427 & 430 had bracketed a loaded ballast car when they departed the West end of the yard in Allegany, NY on May 2, 2020. The car was dropped off on a spur in Randolph, NY. The light power seen here at Randolph, NY then headed to Falconer for a meet with the ME-1 and the pair of Bigs leading that 127 car train of hoppers destined for storage in Salamanca. This was one of the few times I ever got the 430 on the road. I have plenty of rosters of it parked at Olean & Falconer.
