Mit einem artreinen, nagelneuen Getreidezug konnte die 186 430 "Spielemacher" in Sunstedt auf dem Weg nach Braunschweig beobachtet werden.
Während ich vom grünen 423 schon vier Bilder gepostet habe, gibt es vom 430-Pendant keins in meinem Fotostream. Das liegt wohl daran, dass ich ihn nur einmal fotografiert habe und das aus Eddersheim, von wo ich bereits einiges hochgeladen habe. Nun wurde er allerdings letzte Woche nach genau zwei Jahren entklebt, also muss dieses Bild jetzt doch herhalten. Damals war die Werbung gerade mal eine Woche alt.
Mit einem Kesselzug in Richtung Österreich konnte die GYSEV 430 335 letzten Sommer bei unserem Besuch in Szár verewigt werden.

Budaörs
Szinte már retrónak nevezhető összeállítással robog a 997-es számú "SOPRONI KÖZGÁZ" InterCity vonat budapesti célállomása felé. A vonat kocsijai a Gysev régebbi színtervét viselik, melyekből már csak nagyon kevés fut az országban, valószínűleg ha az új távolsági járművek beszerzése megvalósul, a kocsik végleg eltűnnek a közforgalomból.
A vonat mozdonya szintén ritkán fordul elő távolsági vonatok élén, hiszen a Szili nem alkalmas a 160 km/h-s közlekedése, amely Győr és Tata között elő van írva a személyvonatok számára.
In all my years of growing up along the EL/CR/NYS&W Utica line, this was the only time I had ever photographed a train switching the feed mill at Greene, NY. I recall riding a Conrail train during early morning darkness and making a stop there, but no photos.
This shot was taken while chasing a southbound BH-1.
Conductor Chet Tybersky is on the radio bringing back the two big Alco C-430's #'s 3000 and 3008 to spot the hopper.
I don't believe there was ever service there again. Today, the mill is long gone, but I believe the switch off the main is still there.
