(+1) First, I'd like to point out that the fog isn't photoshopped in, it's from the fog on my camera lens. Thanks to Alex Stoddard for the wonderful tip! It's such an easy and interesting effect to try.
I was hesistating between color and black and white. Max is completely sold on the color version and I often tend to listen to him, but there's a strength in b&w you just can't find in the colored version. But then again, I've uploaded many b&ws lately. So, I asked people to vote for their favorite one on my facebook page. Colored version was the clear winner with 16 votes against 4.
What I learned today: People far prefer color photos!
This foggy lens effet might be handy later on, I love it!

Day 40: "Where is the love?"
Have you ever been called Fat? Ugly? A whore? Anorexic? Flat chested? A whale? Of course you have. We have all been made fun of by our co-workers, classmates, friends, family, or spouses at some time in our lives. Abuse comes in many forms. It can be verbal, physical, or sexual. And those are just the basic forms.
This, day 40, is my little "you're not alone" to everyone who has felt abused in some way. Every overweight girl being teased in middle school, every 7 year old who's daddy touches her, every naturally skinny girl who cant shake the "anorexic" stereotype, ever woman who's husband beats her... and the list could go on forever.
I've never been physically or sexually abused, but i have been verbally & emotionally abused. And i know what it's like to live everyday wishing your life would just end so you could stop the torture and the suffering. But hold on, keep your head up. Eventually things do get better, and please, get help! If you are being abused in someway, please tell someone!

During my first all line rail rover we visited Bescot. I didn't take any shots on the depot but i couldn't resist grabbing this shot of a single class 20. Not an unusual sight but magical for a young Devon lad who knew only Hydraulics. What were the Red coaches used for ?
20178 with an engineers train runs through Bescot. Taken on my mums pocket instamatic...nice.
