Some of the details of this piece are wonderful, but I feel a bit uneasy about it. It's on one side of an archway, and is pretty certainly a white man's representation of Native American industry, c. 1924--there's a companion piece on the other side showing white men fishing and cutting down trees and building machinery and such. Ah, well; I guess I should just be glad this one includes a couple of women.
