Scenes from the nerve center of the 72-hour Red Bull Creation challenge at the TechShop Annex in San Francisco.
This is my father's bot, re-built. New wood, painted (inside is gloss white). Has blue and red LEDs, and the X / Y stage is printed in fluorescent red ABS.
Has a MK6 extruder, Gen 3, PSMD, etc.
This is a roughly 60mm dodecahedron printed on our latest MakerBot prototype. The z-stage is a bit wobbly, but the rest of the build quality is nice.
The bag of hardware contained:
• spare thumbwheel
• two nylon tubes
• stick-on cable tie
• four allen keys
• fuse
• three M3x15 bolts
• three M£x12 bolts
• five M3x10 bolts
• fifteen M3 nuts
