A still from my animation 'Cirrus' including a new addition, a starwheel. The starwheel turns in time with the universe, which is faster than you might think.

Another new addition is the LED sign, as yet unfinished although it does have its solar panels on top.

In the distance an umbrella is seen falling from high in the sky, which is one of my early childhood memories, on a very hot and dusty day.

Just a little tribute to the great sporting event which is about take place in South Africa. May it be safe and trouble free. Long live the World Game.

I've made a sputnik-inspired windometer for the roof. It has a doorway and ladder, perhaps for birds or even small aliens. And a welcoming green light.

Also a little red flashing light because I've wanted one of those on the roof since I was a teenager.

making slow progress on this engine. Just spent a couple of hours refining the cylinder heads. As well as adding spark plugs, leads and chrome channels for the leads.

Next up will be the water pumps and distributor.

Organica's offering this coming Saturday, for The Neighborhood

First printing test of my BJD head. I printed it in the low quality at a high speed to check the head's size and construction. I decided to change some details in the 3d model. I want larger head with thinner cheekbones and jaw. Now I'm going to print the second test.

Back in January 09 we finally cracked a problem that has been plaguing up for years. Namely how do you export Inventor files into a format that Cinema 4D can understand? After a lot of failed attempts we finally discovered a very clever bit of software called PolyTrans by Okino. A carefully written bid to the right people allowed us to buy the software that allows us to make the most of both apps. Inventor is used for most of the 3D modelling, C4D is used for lighting, texture mapping and rendering.

We expect to see more exciting results over the course of this session.
