Inspiration for her was drawn heavily from some old portraits of Samurai posing in their armor.
I picture her as something of a Ronin, a Samurai without a master. A wanderer, drifting from place to place, trying to stick to a threadbare code of honor. Reprogrammable for a price.
(Ayumi head on 3D printed torso fitted to a Color Infusion Body Completer Pack. 3D printed mask and swords. I have more parts to her I am working on as well! I didn’t have anything really spooky ready for Halloween, but I thought this fit nicely!)

interesting mix of evening lights, daylight coming from windows. flashes were firing in the open space the night before.
This is a redesigned printable roll over puzzle with special cubes. (See the link to STL file for 3D printing below. If you have no 3D printer you can find link to Android App version too.)
Thanks to the specially designed cubes player can choose from the 6 different challenges(from easiest to hardest):
1) move the cubes to see empty face of the cubes
2) move the cubes to see line on face of the cubes (lines orientation is not important)
3) move the cubes to see line on face of the cubes and all lines are parallel
4) move the cubes to see number on face of the cubes ( orientation is not important)
5) move the cubes to see number on face of the cubes and orientation of numbers should be same.
6) move the cubes to see number on face of the cubes in order and with same orientation. (this is a really hard challenge)

My first try to design a stl file for 3D printing wheels. Also used black hand instead of barhouder clips for wheel covers, now some nice tekst relating to my Brickstead station or something like that and these private owner wagons can be considered as done. Suggestions about tekst are very welcome

(Catching up posting some of my summer projects. I went a little crazy 3D printing and I really can’t be trusted with any “extra” bodies laying around. I ended up printing a few rabbit heads trying to get the scale right.)

Mercury Works 4x5 3-D printed camera (Pittsburg), including a bayonet mount for this Mamiya-Press 75mm/5.6 lens. There are a German-made range finder and a Russian 35mm viewfinder in two of the cold-shoes, and there's a Wista 6x7 roll-film holder on the back. A truly international camera, from Japan, Russia, Germany and the U.S., made on at least three continents.

This is by far my biggest project to date. I've had his design figured out for about a couple of months, so when I received my Bricklink order I was able to finish it in about a day. He turned out a little bit more bottom heavy then I would've liked, but the overall aesthetic is very close to what I originally had in mind. Hope you like him!
Weirdly organic in appearance, this prototype is the first outcome of an ESA project to develop, manufacture and demonstrate an optical instrument for space with 3D printing.
A two-mirror telescope derived from the European-made Ozone Monitoring Instrument now flying on NASA’s Aura satellite, it was not so much designed as grown, with the instrument’s design requirements put through ‘topology optimisation’ software to come up with the best possible shape.
This prototype was developed for ESA by a consortium led by OHB System in Germany, with TNO in the Netherlands – original designer of Aura’s version – Fraunhofer IFAM, IABG and Materialise in Germany and SRON, the Netherlands Institute for Space Research.
This first ‘breadboard’ prototype has been printed in liquid photopolymer plastic, then spray-painted. The final version would be printed in metal instead. The project is intended to culminate in testing a working instrument in a simulated space environment.
The project is being backed through ESA’s General Support Technology Programme, to hone promising technologies to be ready for space and global markets.

Custom florescence engagement ring in white gold with diamonds. I really love how this ring turned out.....it makes me want to take on more custom projects! The undulating surface of the design was grown in our #floraform software and accommodates 3 round diamonds within its folds. The design was first 3D-printed in wax and then cast in white gold. Lastly, it was polished and set with gemstones.
