Hey everybody!

Some time ago I got a 3D printer and I’ve been doing all kinds of cool things from Star Wars with it
Got some aliens species too, if you’re interested in seeing them let me know!
The C-3PO head is modeled, printed and painted by me, hope you like it! 😁

Despite being only 24x24mm square this little pinhole negative has a lot going on. We've got sky, clouds, sea, container ship, beach, promenade, life belt holder, some beautiful flare and colour!
Yet despite all that it's right up my minimalist street. It's amazing what you can condense a location down to in an photograph. Minimalist photography doesn't have to contain nothing, this contains everything that was there. Just in a way that suggests it with shape, form, texture and a smidge of colour.
It's super easy to take a snapshot but it only requires a small amount of time, thought and disconnection to make something else. Love it when a plan comes together.

Custom ODST action figure from Halo with 3D printed armor parts on a GI Joe Classified Series Snake Eyes figure.
This is the first time I've spray painted this many parts of a MOC, because of this, the build is quite simple and uses few parts. I wanted to make a Toa of the Green that represented the dangers that lie hidden in the jungle. Her color scheme is technically accurate to her element, it is also inspired by aboriginal tribes that use dark mud as camouflage to hunt, while her blue accents are supposed to evoke an exotic appearence.
Her custom mask was designed by Forge of the Mask Makers and bought via Shapeways.

The German Class 41 steam locomotives were standard train engines operated by the Deutsche Reichsbahn (DRB) and built from 1937–1941. They were primarely designed to haul freight. A lot of the freight consisted of cattle, and therefore it had the nickname: Ochsenlok (cattle locomotive).
A total of 366 were built by a number of manufacturers according to standardized specification. The one I built is nr. 41-241. It was manufactured by Borsig from Hennigsdorg, Germany. It is now in possesion of the Dutch VSM and currently converted from an oil rebuilt back to coal again. The engine is called “Polarstern” as it crossed the polarcircle on a trip in Norway during the nineties.
The engine is 23,905 mm (78 ft 5 in) in length (including tender). It has a service weight of just over 101 tons. The power is around 1870 hp, capable of bringing the engine upto 90 km/h (56 mph) topspeed.
My Lego version is scaled 1:38 to correct Lego gauge. It is powered by two PF XL engines, and can be controlled by Lego’s PF IR Speed Remote Control Unit. Its all genuine Lego, except the valvetrain and wheels. The valvetrain is designed by myself and Jaap Kroon (www.jaaptechnic.com/), who 3D printed them in marvelous red and grey for me.
This engine will be on display in October at the Legoworld event in Utrecht, Netherlands, and will be riding together with the UP Big Boy.
Hope you like it!
I got some robotics themed things today! My JollyBuild 3D printed robot arrived and so did my robotics engineer Barbie.
JollyBuild robot is pretty awesome. It's partially strung, partially mechanical and can hold an amazing amount of different kind of poses. He even has grip hands! For the 15€ that he cost on Etsy, he was a great, fun buy! He will be a wonderful companion for my dolls!! :D
Robotics engineer Barbie is so beautiful and I love the concept. Unfortunately her hair horrible. :( It's the first time ever that I get a Barbie doll with nylon hair. It's really poor quality nylon too, so that it just stands on her head. It also had an insane amount of sticky gel that came off in large white flakes. Washing did nothing. It stayed sticky and flaky, as if someone had poured Elmer's glue on her head. I was picking those flakes out of her hair for an hour, before I gave up. The hair won't come down either, even with hot water boiling, but is on a permanent up-do and completely un-stylable. :( Now that Mattel finally stopped putting the sappy glue inside the dolls' heads, they go nylon and glue it from the outside!?! She's just going to need a reroot. (sigh)
I bodyswapped her onto the purple top MTM body, so she can at least pose away and work on her robots. ;)

This is by far my biggest project to date. I've had his design figured out for about a couple of months, so when I received my Bricklink order I was able to finish it in about a day. He turned out a little bit more bottom heavy then I would've liked, but the overall aesthetic is very close to what I originally had in mind. Hope you like him!

Here's the video of my ride on Sand Hill Road in the 3D-printed supercar.
Just 61 lbs of aluminum and 41 lbs of carbon fiber interconnect. Sitting in tandem in front of the Mitsubishi engine was louder than loud. The power to weight ratio is better than a McLaren F1.
