Created for RED ON WHITE BACKGROUND theme in Smile on Saturday! 😊
I had a hard time coming up with something for "red", but this morning I see red all around me! Starting w/the coffee cup that I use every day. It's red w/white polka dots. lol.. Oh well, next time. ;-) Hope you like my cute Tarsier Devil with his heart tail. It's 3D printed (not by me) and it's highly posable. I posted a pic of him once before, but with a different head. (see 1st comment box) HSoS! :-)
Penn Central delivered a load of glass insulators but something happened and the load must have shifted.
I modernized the roof of this boxcar, weathered it, and made a load of boxes out of a paper bag. A friend of mine 3D printed the insulators which I painted into different shades of greens (and blues) using a set of paint for glass.

We are 2 of a kind but very different!! Dino (on left) wants to be picked up! But so does Dina (on right). Oh what to do.
Sorry.. that's the best I can do today. My commenting seem to be taking the day off. Can't figure out what to say.. So this is it. ;-)

The simplicity of the camera is underpinned by it being a pinhole camera with no lens. Instead of a lens, the camera has a tiny hole. In fact, the name pinhole exaggerates the size as the hole is so small that a pin would not fit through. To complete the simplicity, I did not ... #etbtsy

With the tiny pinholes the f-stop of my pinhole cameras is between f/100 and f/200. Combined with a medium speed film at ISO 100, this results in exposures of several seconds, automatically pushing the photographs into the long-exposure territory without the use of any special filters. As the moving water does its thing the photographs are transferred into the mysterious moody territory. ... #etbtsy

When the WPPD 2023 weekend arrived, I was ready to grab a pinhole camera and head out into the wild. Ahead of time I knew I wanted to use my 3d-printed terraPIN ACME that only saw three rolls through it and I liked the results. I did not take any notes though and could not remember how ... #etbtsy

Sometimes the clouds are just too tricky to climb onto.
Fang the fox wants to know.. Do you know what this is? A little village? Nope. What could it be???
Answer = it's inside a spice grinder.

Frankenstein loves to tinker with his hand tools! Here, he's tightening up some screws on a cute robot he created. His creations are only made of metal or 3D printed pieces though, as human parts are too hard to maintain he says. ;-)

Made these on my 3D printer last year. Added the faces in Photoshop.

This was my opportunity, and it went very well. I had a blast there with the pinhole camera despite having taken several photographs pretty much from the same spot just rotating around and selecting a different camera height. So many opportunities! I also already decided that ... #etbtsy

Created for Macro Monday theme = tool. This scraper is 2 1/8" wide.
This is a scraper tool that I 3D printed to help me remove 3D prints from the print bed. In order to successfully 3D print, the print must stick very well to the bed. Lots of times, it's stuck to the bed so well that I can't get it off without this tool. Besides being cute... it's sparkly lavender-blue.. it's oh so helpful. Win win. lol.. Hope you like it. HMM.

Created for Dangle theme in Macro Monday HMM! :-)
The dragon/snake put my necklace into his mouth and climbed on top of the vase. I’ll make it dangle for you! Just wait and see. ;-)
And dangle it did. Actually.. my necklace wouldn’t stop moving!! Taking a macro of something dangling w/no movement wasn’t as easy as it sounds. Got so many out of focus shots, it was getting annoying. Maybe it’s because my studio, the dining room table, is wobbly. Maybe it’s because the old floors around here are creaky and the dog kept going back and forth. Maybe it’s because my shaky old hands aren’t the most stable thing around. Maybe it’s all of the above. lol.. Yep. I think that’s it. Anyhoo.. hope you enjoy my shot! HMM.
Mr. Vampire and his girlfriend Ms. Witchy are enjoying their cola getting ready for Halloween! Their dragon protector didn't want to be left out.. he loves cola too, but he's a pig about it. Glugging down the whole bottle at once!
HSoS and Happy Halloween!! 🎃
Created for Red theme in HaPpY CrAzY Tuesday ❤️😜
The gang is all here! I separately took pics of the red figures but in the end I liked them all together.. doing a composite image of them all. Arnold and his pet red Tarsier Devil are really together though. The Red Bellied Woodpecker couldn't help but peck on that glorious head of hair. lol.. And there's another one peeking out from the left. Gracie the elf just can't keep her eyes off the handsome Arnold. Kinda crazy! Hence, perfect for Crazy Tuesday. :-) HCT!
Don’t stir the pot. Especially if it’s a Witch’s Cauldron.. or you’re just asking for trouble. 👻 HSoS 🎃

May - 04 - Something green
I forgot I had this 3D printed Yoda that a coworker had 3D printed until I was on a phone call at work and thinking of the challenge. Originally I was going to use my Star Wars toy. Lol.
Since Halloween is coming, this is a tiny pumpkin container for today's container theme. It has articulated legs, like an octopus. lol.. The top is a lid that comes off.
I printed it on a 3D printer, using sparkly filament. Have been having fun learning to 3D print stuff. Still have lots to learn but it's been enjoyable making all kinds of things.
For lighting, I used only 1 led light to its left, to make the pic a bit moody. Anyhoo...
Happy Macro Monday 🎃
Borrowed one of my BJDs wire boxes, took off the lid and stuck in one of the flowers from my Halloween bouquet. Things were looking kinda bare until Pumpkin came strolling along, with his whatcha doin' look. ;-)
Created for Crazy Tuesday theme = box. HCT! :-)

I really like how the bright glare off the water made the stream look like a flowing melted lead in the above photograph. That takes my mind back to the film, Fuji 100 Acros II. With Fuji's exit from film manufacturing, it is my understanding ... #etbtsy

I'm a bit out of practice using Photoshop, but this week I've been experimenting and having some fun trying out different things using layers. Hope you like it. HSS and Happy almost Halloween! 👻
I made the pumpkin with wings and the pot w/the 3D printer.
Yes, no, maybe… oh what to do? For when you can’t make up your mind, just roll the dice.
I’m still learning how to do text on 3D prints and thought I’d try debossing some text below the surface on the 6 surfaces of dice. They came out OK the 2nd try, but they were all black & you couldn’t see the text well, so I used some silver colored wax (Rub-N-Buff) on my finger to highlight all the texture on the surface making the text pop. Bingo! lol.. That’s it. Hope you enjoy. HMM!!

This is a 3D PLA printed cogwheel on a Titan 3D printed fountain pen pistol.
Taken with a Laowa 60mm f2.8 for Macro Mondays challenge cogwheel. My initial idea was to photograph this piston cogwheel with one of toothy bokeh vintage lenses, but I could not find a single lens in my collection that has exactly the same number of blades as the cogwheel at hand (n=10). As for WPPD 2023 I decided to take out a single camera for the Worldwide Pinhole Photography Day 2024. I really like the results I get out of my 3d-printed terraPIN ACME medium format camera. "That's right folks! Come on down to Clem and Floyd's, Hollywood Used Cars and you will find a ride that fits your personality. Are you a traditional Buck Rogers kind of futurist or do you want a more modern take on what the future may bring? Either way, Clem, Floyd and Tony from Montana, our finance manager, can put you in the ride of your dreams!"
"How do they sell these amazing rides at such low prices? Why, they steal the cars..... Nah, just kidding."
We are back on the lot at Hollywood Used Cars, ready for another test of your TV and Film vehicle knowledge. A couple of these are really difficult.
As always, we ask you to respond in a way that lets us know you know but still allows others to play. No Spoilers please.

I 3D printed this bunny egg just for this challenge and have somehow managed to get a pic of it to post.. I've thought I just had a really bad flu, but it turns out I have Covid. :-( Sooo, I'll do my best but for now I have to go lay down. Covid really knocks you out and makes you feel just awful all over. I wanted to say something witty as the caption but the ole brain ain't working right either.
