Pier 39 is a shopping center and popular tourist with shops, restaurants, a video arcade, street performances, the Aquarium of the Bay, virtual 3D rides, and views of California sea lions hauled out on docks on Pier 39's marina. A two-story carousel is one of the pier's more dominant features, although it is not directly visible from the street and sits towards the end of the pier. Pier 39 was first developed by entrepreneur Warren Simmons and opened October 4, 1978. On December 22, 2017, the Federal Bureau of Investigation arrested Everitt Aaron Jameson, a 25-year-old former Marine, on suspicion of planning a terrorist attack in the Pier 39 area over Christmas. We went to the doctors today to meet with the specialist again. My wife is 23 weeks along. Well everything was pretty good today. The baby still has cysts on one of his kidneys, but the other kidney is functioning just fine. A person can live with one kidney. But everything else looks very good. So it looks like we have had a miracle. Well here is my son!

We went to the Floriade, a flower exhibition in Canberra, this weekend. It was all so beautiful; the flowers did not need to be arranged in a certain way, the gardens did not need to be designed... it was just raw beauty. And in that spirit, I decided to post this photo just the way it is, raw and unedited.
