The Gloster E28/39 was built by the Gloster Aircraft Company in Brockworth in 1941. It was powered by Sir Frank Whittle's revolutionary jet engine. This full size fibreglass replica is on display in the grounds of the Blackfriars Priory as part of the Gloucester History Festival.

I spent a ridiculous amount of time yesterday making a felt banner for the boy's room. If only I weren't such a perfectionist.
I don't love it, but I don't hate it. I get so frustrated with crafting projects; they rarely turn out as I see them in my head.
That's the right-hand house of the pair. Birthplace of celebrated crime writer Rosalind Mitchell. Well, not yet but give it a few years. And she wasn't actually born in this house, she was born at Risedale Maternity Hospital on the mainland, but she was brought home to this house afterwards.
