Got in from work really late tonight, no sooner had I sat down - Tony put this lovely stew in front of me. It was lovely, warmed me up and put work on the back burner.....tomorrow's another day.....

Theme: Favorite Book
This week the theme is to take a photo that connects or references a favorite book.
We rode bikes along the Delaware Canal on Saturday. This train car is rusting away on an abandoned rail line in woods that are growing up around it, along the canal. Made me think of Agatha Christie's Murder on the Orient Express.
Interstate 39 through central Wisconsin is a spectacularly scenic drive. This picture was taken on southbound I-39 between the towns of Coloma and Endeavor.

Kimberly: "A bolsa tudo bem, foi pra vovó... Mas a tia Poly mandou muuuito mais coisa, cade aquilo tudo??"

July 9th - 39/100
Well it is Monday and I am finally on the last couple of days of school before SCHOOLS OUT FOR SUMMER! But lets recap!
Last night at Henley Festival was so good! I didn't think I would enjoy Olly Murs in the concert but I actually really enjoyed. We also wandered about the art galleries and it was exeptionally good and we also had the best time after the concert had finished. Nearby the grandstand there was another stage where this Canadian Folk band were playing and all of us were linking arms skipping in circles and having a ball! We got kicked out at 11:10pm and got back to Evy's house at 12 and got to sleep at 12:30.
Then the following day. The alarms went off at 6:10 and again 7:00. We had chocolate filled croistant and Evy drove us to school. It was so exciting because this was the first time that I had been driven by her since she passed her test. But I have to say that she is a very good driver, she changes gears well and brakes really smoothly.
When we got to school the Drake house strode off to Thorp Park since they won the house competition from the previous year. But we did not let it get to us because for the rest of the day in History through lunch time we pinned up this hand made shields into bricks. The amusing part is that we kept on having images of our teacher falling off of the chair was was on the table. Classics was good as well because we moved on from the tragedy we had been studying for weeks on end. The rest of the day was spent mucking around and watching films. I then managed somehow to get the Henley bus and my dad picked me up. I got a Starbucks in the process too and it was such a treat because I haven't had a starbucks in over a year now so surely 256calories is okay?? Then we got back to the house and I played sims fora while and we watched 'The Full Monty' which was fun. Went to bed at 11:00... soo tired now.
This picture represents how close I am to the summer holidays and that I can almost open the door to freedom!
