The Offenbach lock, 38,51 kilometers upstream from Gustavsburg (that name has such a Civil War vibe!) and Mainz where the Main river joins the Rhine.

My 52 project - Week 38/52.
I built a new Panzer 38 to fit the scale of my latest StuGs, Pzs III, Pzs IV.
I spent much time in some details, esp. the slanted turret and the rear ot the hull.

I decided that this was the cheapest cannon model for me to go with. approx. 0,60-0,70 € each. I use dark orange for the gun carriage since it's the cheapest more or less wooden looking colour in which these wedges are available.
dark tan wouldn't be extremely more expensive, but I already use dark tan for the decks on many ships.
Good thing is, the barrel can easily be modified to depict larger calibres.

The FSR-38 is a prime choice for your expeditionary marksman needs. The quick-detach stock allows for easy storage and transportation. Being bolt action, the FSR-38 is much easier to clean and maintain than its semi-auto counterparts.
Rather than using a native cartridge, the FSR-38 is chambered for 7.62x55mm; due to the commonality of the round on frontier colonies.
