Gods Own Country!
Aye, that'd be Yorkshire Then. First headed north in 94 whilst at College, then finally settled permanantly in 98. What a good decision that was! There is so much to see, and the scenery in just Stunning, i'd go as far as to say it's photography heaven.
Having said that though it's not often i take big landscape images, but i grabbed this whilst running around today.
Taken from just above the Village of Downholme, looking up Swaledale towards Marrick, with Grinton and Reeth around the corner.
Day 38 of my 365 Project: Due to a combination of factors, I didn't have my usual leftovers for lunch. So instead I ordered my favorite sandwich instead: a BLTCP on Sourdough, toasted. Yum. (For the confused among you, that's Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato, Cheddar, Pickles.)

Adapted Banksy design done by me for our sons bedroom wall. Playing drums as this is one of his favourite past-times.
On a 3' x 3' MDF board.
Stencilling is harder than you might think. Few problems with paint leaking beneath my stencils resulting in me having to make further stencils to paint over the paint bleed.
Planning to add a toxic green spillage from the drum lying down which will then drip down wall beneath the picture but waiting until room is redecorated.
My daughter wants one now!
I have left bedsheets in photo to give it a sense of place. Hope they are not just a distraction.

Vaska is such a good boy. You can tell he's chomping at the bit, but he has his patient side too.

Amazingly, I took this picture with my cell (but thats also why it's so grainy)
Today was a somewhat lazy day. After seeing the harry potter movie with Paulina yesterday, I stayed over at her house for the night.
We watched our 8th grade grad dance/ceremony DVD, I have to admit it was pretty funny.
Other than that we walked around the lovely Brickyard plaza/mall. got a strawberry and creme frappuccino, and tried on random hats and sunglasses at target.
hope everyone's day went great :)
