Feb 7 2011. Both children are in Nursery today. It's the first time they've both been in childcare that I haven't had an appointment with the dentist. Ah, what bliss!
Well, today was a better day. Started off better as I actually got some sleep last night and in my own bed too! I got up at 8am to have a precious half hour with the children before school and surprised myself by not napping at all. Parents' assembly at 2pm was lovely. They give out certificates that you take in of recent achievements so was nice to watch both of mine go up and get a swimming certificate (A) and a ballet certificate (C). An added bonus was C receiving the Head Teacher's Award this week. I sat there as she described what the person it was going to had gone and I kept thinking it would be C but you know, I would be biased and was beaming when they said her name. The Bishop earlier this week to open a school extension and C stood out for exceptional singing at the event. It did create a roar of laughter when the Head Girl reported in error, that the Pope (Bishop) had visited! Was the first time I got dressed and out of the house since Tuesday and it was well worth it.
These are the flowers my lovely colleagues bought me last week when I was first in hospital, still going strong!

Anyone a fan of Lost? I am...but it's love/hate relationship. Call me strange, but this shot reminds me of Lost. Oh, and I heart Sawyer :)
