La BB 27308, récemment acquise par Beacon Rail, et louée à RégioRail, est en charge de son tout premier train de marchandises. Elle s'attaque à du lourd avec ce train de gaz sur la ligne de la Maurienne. Les BB 37049 et 27177 assurent quant à elles, la pousse du train.
SNCF 37049, Vahl-les-Benestroff (ligne Réding - Metz), 23 Octobre 2008.
Le train de remorques "LANUTTI", reliant l'Italie à la Belgique, et encore tracé en 2008 par la France via la Ligne 3, approche de Bénéstroff derrière la 37049 de Fret SNCF. La machine en assure la traction depuis Muttenz [CH] et jusqu'à Thionville, où elle sera relayée par une 13 Belge, pour la fin du parcours jusqu'à Chatelet. Depuis 2018, ces trains transitent par l'Allemagne.
REGIORAIL 37049, Marainviller (ligne Réding - Nancy), 23 Avril 2017.
Circulation exceptionnelle, ce 23 Avril 2017, de ce train REGIORAIL sur une mission Basel - Lérouville, qui vient rompre le calme de la Ligne 1 Strasbourg - Paris du Dimanche après-midi. Contrairement aux apparences, la ligne n'est pas à voie unique; la deuxième voie se sépare quelques instants, à l'emplacement des anciens sauts de mouton de Marainviller, qui ré-organisaient l'ordre des voies à la sortie de l'agglomération deLunéville, à l'époque où cette section de la Ligne 1 était à 4 voies...
REGIO RAIL 37049, Schwindratzheim (ligne Strasbourg - Réding), 25 Février 2018.
La 37049, unique machine du type dans la livrée bleue de son nouveau locataire, REGIO RAIL, est en tête d'une rame de citernes sur une marche spéciale Basel - Blainville. Le convoi est photographié à son arrivée à Schwindratzheim, certainement un des rares coins photos exploitables à cette heure pour le soleil, dans ce sens de circulation.
In het weekeinde van van 17, 18 en 19 Augustus 2018 vond de wereldberoemde productie van Royal de Luxe plaats in het Friese Leeuwarden. In verband met de verwachte drukte haalde Arriva 4 GTW treinstellen vanuit Limburg naar Leeuwarden. Op 17 Augustus 2018 passeren de Arriva 10382 en 10386 het Friese dorpje Scharnegoutum als stoptrein 37049 naar Sneek.
REGIO RAIL 37049, Barisey-la-Côte (ligne Toul - Neufchâteau), 22 Juin 2020.
La 37049 est en tête du train Champigneulles - Lavalduc opéré par REGIO RAIL, aperçu dans la longue courbe lui permettant de contourner le village de Barisey-la-Côte, sous une lumière de fin de journée, le 22 Juin 2020. A cette époque, c'est la seule machine du type a arborer la livrée de REGIO RAIL. Depuis, la machine a été restituée à AKIEM.
With the normal practice of adding a third class 37 at Mossend Yard,for the final section to BSC Ravenscraig, Motherwell allocated 37049 "Imperial"+37137 "Clyde Iron" +37325 "Lanarkshire Steel" make a right racket has they pull out of Mossend yard on 26/May/1989 with a MGR from Hunterston.
37049 Imperial on what looks like a railtour but its in fact the 1A68 16.12 Hereford to Paddington deputising for a 47 as far as Oxford at Stoke Edith on May 19th 1991

6749 dashes through Featherstone, with the steam heat clearly on as it works 1Z09 Hull-Blackburn "Footex" on Saturday 12th December 1970.
6749 was for a time allocated to Stratford Depot,where it would remain when it transferred to March depot in 1981 as 37049. It was only a loan move however as it quickly returned to Stratford in May 1981. In 1985 it moved north,to Eastfield before quickly moving to Motherwell as the 37/4s began to arrive on the WHL. It was renumbered 37322 in 1986 and remained an ML loco until it moved to Cardiff Canton in 1991. It then transferred to Immingham in July of that year. It was renumbered 37343 in 1994 but didn't last long and was withdrawn in 1995. 37343 was scrapped in 2003.

Immingham allocated Civil engineers loco 37049 'IMPERIAL' powers a northbound engineers train through Doncaster on October 16th 1991.
New to Sheffield Darnall shed in August 1962 this loco carried four numbers over the years. Originally D6749, renumbered 37049 under the TOPS numbering system, 37322 as part of the Motherwell based steel loco pool where it received the name 'IMPERIAL', back to 37049 then finally 37343!! Stored in February 1995 it would linger at Toton depot until eventually being disposed of in December 2003.
