Amtrak Train 369, "The Intrastate" heads south towards its next station stop at Clemens, Illinois. Due to bad-ordered m/u equipment on a coach car, the locomotive and "cabbage" will have to run around the train once they reach the turnaround point.
This is HO scale, and the photo was taken on my proto-freelanced model railroad. I've drawn influence from Mississippi River geology (i.e. the Dubuque tunnel in this scene) and towns between St. Louis and Galena. The Rapido F40 and NPCU will eventually receive weathering and supplemental decals. I might also update the LEDs to be a bit brighter, but we'll see how motivated I get.

My word I adore Ektachrome's blues. Ektachrome 64 in particular. Newer Ektachromes are sharper, immensely less grainy, and probably also have better archival stability to boot - but none of them give me the same colour EPR does.
Part of that is probably that EPR was the oldest colour film in Kodak's range beside Kodachrome until it was discontinued in 2007. Over time the other Ektachromes changed - Ektachrome 100 (EPN) became Ektachrome 100 Plus (EPP) and then Ektachrome E100G, Ektachrome 200 (EPD) became E200, and a whole range of special versions like E100SW, E100GX, and E100VS emerged to fill various special niches - but EPR barely changed at all from when it was introduced in as one of the first E-6 films in 1977.
For me, that's the joy of it. As all the E-Series films got sharper, finer-grained, and corrected all of the colour defects that characterised earlier Ektachromes, EPR kept all of those defects. It kept the outrageous blue shadows. It kept the '70s look more than any other recently-produce film I've come across, with perhaps the exception of Agfa/Rollei CR200. It kept the character.
So, my endless thanks to the pro who bought a freezer full in 2005 only to sell nearly a hundred rolls to me within a few years, and for a pittance too.
Funnily enough, he also sold me the camera I shot it with.

Uno Wright Eclipse 2 bodied Volvo B7RLE 369 (BG14OPA) is seen here heading out of Watford Junction Bus Station working the 635 to Stevenage.
Interestingly this bus didn’t actually start off its career in the UK, originally being delivered new to Malta Public Transport and registered BUS360. Coincidentally I happen to be going on a week long holiday to Malta next month so do keep an eye out for plenty of Maltese bus pics then!
