Well, today was like any other day, woke up and went to school. I took a couple of snapshots of Minkyu today, he's the funniest kid ever. Love him!
Happy 2009!!!
had a great time snowboarding.. i think i improved a bit, but what's most important is that it was fun.. here are the good and bad events:
-woke up at 6:45 AM, 3 hours of sleep (bad)
-packed up the car to bear mountain (neutral)
-first run.. beginner-intermediate (bad run)
-second/third runs... intermediate runs (great run)
-felt free and enjoyed the breeze boarding down 2/3rd run (great!)
-last run... black diamond!!! falling down the slope w/o any controls... loved it, learned to balance and manuver (great!)
-5 hours commute out of the mountain (very bad)
-speeding ticket on 57 south heading to irvine (very bad)
-tired.. knocked out at home (priceless)
again, my mentality for this trip was to relax.. avoid stress, think positive and go with the flow.. there are always worse and better situations... just seize the day!
carpe diem!
Happy New Year, 2009!

Day 10/366
To pay homage to my first career, I felt like I need to take a photo about being an engineer during the first few weeks of the 366 project. Hard hat, scale, blueprints, and graphs are what it’s all about.
A trip to the BBC's Maida Vale studios to see/hear the BBC Symphonic Orchestra play some Stravinsky and other stuff for Radio 3. Entertaining and free.
I had received a small plasma light but never took it out of the box. Decided to play around with it and my camera. I like the cool effect of the long exposure.
