Seven days after a team of friends return from putting fresh water into Huay Sai, wild fires sweep through and destroy 14 homes. The dogwoods are starting to bloom and we had a nice little storm this afternoon. Made for some good shooting.
This might make me sound old but there is something very soothing about coming home from a tiring weekend to sit down and listen to Blowers on the cricket and drink a nice cup of tea.

All four of us parents took Allister to family bowling, played arcade games and had some frozen yogurt. (still weird to call myself a parent. I feel like I shouldn't be allowed to do that yet.)
Went to Hjälstaviken today, one of Sweden's largest bird reserves, I wasn't looking for any special bird, but rather for Dragonflies! Here's one of many I've found. This is a Black Darter or Black Meadowhawk (Sympetrum danae), Svart ängstrollslända . This is the smallest of the 'real' Dragonflies in Sweden and the only one who is black, this is a male. ♂
