I started school in Culmstock. This village in Devon had an unusual feature in the church tower. Growing high up in the air is an old yew tree that dates back hundreds of years. Nobody knows exactly how old it is but it has been said to date from the 1750s or earlier. Parts of All Saints' Church date back to the 1300's
Busy day clearing out Toby's room ready for decorating - I'm getting rid of so much! Deadly dull process but the end result is worth it!

This was partially inspired by the movies Troop Beverly Hills and She-Devil. The lawn chair I’m sitting in was defective upon receiving it; it would stretch out the way it was supposed (contrary to the photos on eBay where I purchased it) and it was filled with disgusting rust. However, I went along with it and decided it added additional quirk.

I have photographed this window and view a few times but the light today was special.
I bought a hanging basket today. Normally I plant up 3 for the front of the house in early June but the weather this year has not got me in the gardening mood at all. When is this rain going to stop???!

Anyway, thought this poor snail was looking a little down in the dumps. Maybe even he has had enough of ALL THIS RAIN!!!!!!
