Cuando llegues al fondo del pozo, dí: "Este es el comienzo de mi ascensión"
When you reach bottom of the well, you gave:" This is the beginning of my ascension "

Hoar frost is one of nature's wonders. It requires very specific conditions to develop, and with a gust of wind, it can all disappear in moments. This tiny tendril comes off some hops we have growing on the back fence, but nature has decorated it with lovely petals of ice.
Another wonderful sunny day we are having and I just loved this view across the sea towards the Carrick Hills from South Beach in Troon ... the sea was nicely peaceful and glistening!!

Freezing cold on the walk to school this morning, but after drop off found this one. Just about the only shot of the day as been in the "darkroom" predominantly.

Over in the Macro Mondays group today, the theme is "Brew". But although I shot these with a macro lens, I don't consider these to be macro images, so they'll do for my daily snap :))
Putting Scrabble letters into a random pile is surprisingly difficult as the three letter T and three letter E tiles in the middle of this just go to prove.
Day 47 of my 365 Project.
Today was a beautiful sunny Sunday in Sydney. The temperature was well above the average for this time of year. It was so warm the beaches had to call in additional lifeguards to handle the crowds. It was a beautiful day/
We went to a birthday party for a friend's little girl. She turned four. It was a great party and reminded me so much of my own childhood parties. We didn't have jumping castles back in the day, but we did do the pinatas and the pony rides. It was a great party, spent with people who are like family to us. We don't see them nearly often enough, but when we do, its great!
After the party we spent our afternoon chilling at home. We laid out the quilt and laid in the yard. Here is me and best girl, Georgie. God, I love this dog. When we got Georgia in February it had been nearly 18 years since I'd had a puppy. The last six months with this dog have been great. I enjoy her every day.
Out for my walk this afternoon when Virgin Atlantic was just coming into land at Glasgow Prestwick Airport ... no passengers on board as the Airbus A330-343 is being used for pilots who are undertaking training!

Taken for the Macro Mondays group on the subject of 'Shadow Play', this is almost exactly the image as I envisioned it when the idea came to me.
Half the ball in shadow, some nice texture on the ball, as it has been used (who knew that you could buy USED golf-balls on Amazon?) and a nice dark background.
I went around looking for somewhere to shoot... I stopped three times but every time I didn't know what to do. Since I wasn't really sure what to do and had no ideas coming to me none of them really came out at all. So. I went home. And I took pictures of leaves on my lawn. :P
I liked the random spider web in there. >:)
Couldn't resist another visit to this spot this morning. I found half a dozen compositions yesterday morning and took the opportunity to add another to my 365. I love the outline of the tree against the sky - something which marks the image out as a winter shot.
This picture is an inferior homage to Clinton Meyer's 76th 365 pic, "Exhausted"

Una más de legos congelados. Esta vez lo descongeló mi hijo y me pidió unas fotos. Esta fue tomada a contraluz solar.
A mi me gusta !!!

This will be my last entry for this project. I have started my own group, "One Object 365 Days Project" and I am having trouble keeping up with both groups. As you can see from the photo, my son has started back to school, (we live by the almighty planner now), and I am finding it increasingly difficult to come up with a photo a day that I am proud of and want to upload. I find myself just doing whatever I have to so I can get a decent shot for the day. That is not what I want my flickr experience to be, I want it to be fun and I want to upload photos that I am proud of and want to share with the world. I am not doing that these days, it feels more like work. So my "Project 365" journey ends here. I will still be uploading a photo a day of a single tree to my other 365 days group (inspired by this one.) So stop by and check out the tree from time to time if you're interested! ~smile~ Good luck to all of you, and I hope your 365 days are great ones!
The coastline along this part of the beach at Troon is certainly facing erosion of the coastline and there are concerns that it will effect many of the fairways at the beginning of Royal Troon Golf Course ... it does appear to get worse each time I walk along the beach!

An early game of chess with my son Ben before work this morning. Ben and I love having coffee and playing chess. This was our last face to face match before Ben heads back to Montreal. Ben self-isolated for two weeks prior to visiting us during the Christmas Holidays. We now have to return to playing chess online.
:You're so pretty when you're faithful to me:
So. Tired. I'll have to catch up on comments, tomorrow. :)

Gosh, where has all the time gone … I've got more than a tad behind, sorry, but I haven't missed a day taking a photo a day.
99/365 Kodachrome
As I was out shooting this morning, I found myself on several occasions humming this tune by Paul Simon..and again as I shot this image. Which is kind of funny really....here are some lyrics to one of my favorite all time songs. What a lovely morning!

"Kodachrome
They give us those nice bright colors
They give us the greens of summers
Makes you think all the world's a sunny day
I got a Nikon camera
I love to take a photograph
So mama don't take my Kodachrome away"

I'm off to the Arena Seminar in Bournemouth tomorrow … leaving home at 9am, so should be there for lunch.
On the Saturday afternoon there is what is called a print walk, whereby those attending to listen to the speakers, can take along their own work to show. It gives everyone something to look at in between the end of the lectures for the day, and dinner.
Last year I took along a panel of 10 and said I would take work again this year. I had intended to do a panel of 15, but I've done 20. I may not be in the same league as everyone else attending, but I've done something, so feel quite chuffed with myself, as I know many wont bring anything for the rest of us to see.
Anyways, I got everything printed and mounted today by about 3.30pm, so feeling even more chuffed with myself for completing what I set out to do.
I feel like I'm getting the flu. I hate that I left so early last night, especially when I was with people I haven't seen in months. It's my friend Danielle's birthday party tonight and I'm not even sure that I'm going to make it out...staying home and just laying around seems so much more inviting.
I'm not sure what to do...because sometimes when I see your legs I want to eat them with honey mustard sauce.
^excuse the lame ''video''. This song cracks me up. It's by the singer of my favorite band.
