Yes - it rained last night! We now have a few green tufts on the otherwise still yellow lawn, but it left some droplets on the flowers!

Day 130/365:
Had to make the most of my wisteria while it's in bloom. This is three images blended together. I put a scarf behind the flowers to improve the background.
Found at the Goodwill store. I thought it would make a good addition around the pond. It may look a bit lost as its only 12cm tall
I just got in from shoveling the driveway...again. Sophie just got back from 5 days at Scott's Kennels ( I prefer to call it Scott's Minimum Security Prison for Overindulged Pets).

View 52 - week 35 - another triple challenge posting to try to catch up!
After a very rainy day, I was finally able to get some washing on the line. As I went to bring it in I took a quick photo...desperate measures but I am finding out that this is what happens with a 365!
Day 67/365: 2015
The weekly theme is selective colouring.
I took the parasol out with me in the hope of finding somewhere interesting to photograph it but ended up with this fence. Not sure I'll manage to keep the theme up as I now have RSI from re-colouring! ;) It's quite time consuming too, a great theme though so I'll do my best.
Oh dear, I have just realised that to fit the theme the selective colour was meant to be done in camera, sorry!

Our Magnolia has been flowering for about a week, and already some of the petals are turning brown and falling.
Jack Frost came by and left his signature. I thought it looked like a tree lol. We have terrible old windows in our garage but come winter time they sure do help with photos. :) I enjoy capturing frost formations so you will likely see more in the future. Taken with my iPhone because I was too lazy to go back into the house to get my DSLR because I would have had to take my snowy boots off. :D

The western pygmy blue is one of the smallest butterflies in the world and the smallest in North America. This one is less than 1/4 inch (0.635cm).
They move so fast. This one was very uncooperative and didn't stay in one place for long.

Today we visited Provincetown (called P-town by the locals) which is the northernmost part of Cape Cod where the Pilgrims landed. I'm pleased to say the weather has improved considerably!

Not likely to see the real super moon tomorrow as it's supposed to rain all day and into evening. Not complaining, though. We really need the rain!
Fortunately Christmas decarations are very photogenic. They may feature a lot over the next week or so.
I didn't really like this photo at first but once I got it open in Photoshop, I quite liked the way there is such a huge contract between the colors, with the sort of metallic sky, then you got some greens and purples and the pond reflecting it all...

There I was walking along a nice sunny prom at Eastbourne, when quite suddenly it went dark. The dark storm clouds didn't last long, but the rain came ashore, along with a plain grey sky.
hooray, the end, onto better and bolder new things!
this 365 was admittedly a bit looser than the first, with a day missed here or there, and lots of latitude in posting in any sort of timely matter. i'm grateful to the 365: the 2013 edition or i'd have bailed entirely months ago.
some of us are going to do a 100x (the x being a theme of your choosing) in 2014 - less than a 365 but more than a 52. you should join us!
happy new year everyone! xoxo
