Model 35 LT/Panzerkampfwagen (PxKfw) 35 (t)

(Medium Tank)

Initial Production 1935 (Skoda)

The Model 35 was the main battle tank of the Czech Army prior ro the German annexation of Czechoslovakia in 1930 (38 & 39). The 35 had a crew of 4 and armed with one 37mm main gun and two 7.92mm machine guns. The 35 had a top speed of 35 mph on the road. It was very unreliable even though the Germans improved it she still retained a poor reputation. It was advanced for its time having a pneumatic transmission. Service included: Poland, France, the Balkan Front and the Russian Front. It also served with the Bulgarian and Romanian Armies.

Borrowed this camera to compare it to the rollei 35. Had fun returned it.

The Qixi Festival (Chinese: 七夕節), also known as the Qiqiao Festival (Chinese: 乞巧節), is a Chinese festival that celebrates the annual meeting of the cowherd and weaver girl in Chinese mythology.

It falls on the seventh day of the 7th month on the Chinese calendar. It is sometimes called the Double Seventh Festival, the Chinese Valentine's Day, the Night of Sevens, or the Magpie Festival. This is an important festival, especially for young girls.

The Qixi festival inspired Tanabata festival in Japan , Chilseok festival in Korea, Thất Tịchfestival in Vietnam.

god i've gotten huge! 5 more weeks!

Today was rainy most of the time. So back to theme "something old", which was not the original plan. This is a gift from mom, who bought this ring in 1959 in Brussels when she was still single (my parents got married in 1964). Thanks mom for the complete story.

If 36-38 is the address in Rue au Beurre, it's not now a Leonidas chocolate store :-(

This card is for Play Date Cafe Colour Challenge #35. I loved the inspiration photo and it made me think both of rusted metal and of wood, so I adhered a piece of metallic tape to cardstock and embossed it in my new Tim Holtz wood grain folder. Then I painted the piece turquoise, dry brushed it with brown paint and then sanded it a bit to reveal the metal. I stamped the poppy on a piece of watercolour paper which had been coloured with distress ink and perfect pearl glimmer mist. The poppies were coloured with coloured pencils. I die cut the grungepaper swirl and sprayed it with homemade glimmer mist. The flowers were also glimmer misted. The circle is a cut from a background stamp (Ancient Motif). TFL!!

Supplies: Hero Arts stamps: Long Stem Flowers (H5350), Ancient Motif (CG186), Sew Stylish (CL452); Sizzex Tim Holtz woodgrain embossing folder and swirl die cut; grungepaper; aluminium tape; Prima flowers; ric rac; Tim Holtz mini staples; brad.

OLYMPUS TRIP 35

Edixa 35 AF

This camera is very similar to my REVUE 450AF, which is probably a Halina AF700 by Haking.

Some specifications of the REVUE, I assume they are valid for the Edixa too:

Lens: 34 mm focal length, f/4.5

Nearest focus distance: 1.2 m

Guide number of the flash light: 12 (in meter, ISO 100)

Battery: 2x 1.5 V AA-cells

ISO range: the camera can only read 100 or 400 ISO

All cameras have the frame counter at the bottom, none of them have a self-timer.

Only the Edixa has a tripod socket.

35 of 365 - One of the reasons for doing a 365 is to push the envelope of my photographic expertise. This image is my first published attempt at creating a shadow.

I want to thank Klara Hemmerich for her tutoring efforts involving the creation of shadows. If you haven’t seen Klara’s work, please do so. You will be amazed at her talent.

Olympus 35 ED

Bought for a few dollars after seller told me it was not working. I bought a new set of batteries and watched as it came back to life. Beautiful rangefinder with a sharp lens.

Kiev 35 A, the Russian Minox. This is a perfect copy, so perfect that I question myself if Minox didn't sell to the Russians the tooling and drawings of their camera. The little Russian camera is afflicted with all the same diseases that plagued early Minox models, that is reliability. The camera is made os harsher plastics and some models leak light into the film chamber. If you like Minox type of cameras, you will love this clone, sister or copy!

Fujica's pretentionless compact rangefinder with coupled seleniumcell. Note that the leatherette has dried up and retracted with the years, I recommand shoeshine or moistering creme.

Route 35 (Clapham Junction-Shoreditch) also transferred from Abellio London to Go-Ahead London Central on Saturday 30th April. Rather more conventional fare for this route is a batch of ADL Enviro400 MMCs such as EH48, seen at the junction of Gracechurch Street and Lombard Street in the City of London on Tuesday 3rd May.

**************************************

Routes 35 and 40 were returned to Go-Ahead London Central on Saturday 30th April, after 7 years in the hands of Abellio London. The new contracts called for 42 new hybrid double-deckers; the 22 buses for route 35 are the new standard ADL Enviro400H MMC that is now being seen in increasing numbers on London's streets, whilst the 20 buses for the 40 are Volvo B5LHs carrying the new MCV EvoSeti bodywork, a first for London although some entered service with East Yorkshire Motor Services last year. As both routes are allocated to Camberwell (Q) Garage some mixing inevitably occurs, and the types are also likely to be seen on other Camberwell-operated routes.

At the same time route 345 went the other way, from Go-Ahead to Abellio, and is now providing work for some of the displaced Enviro400s; others are going to West London for Ealing local route E9.

My boyfriend has a Fuji x10 and what an amazing little camera it is. I want one too =0)
